How to install Poedit pro and activate its license on openSuse Tumbleweed

How to activate a poedit pro license on openSuse Tumbleweed.

I bought a license for poedit pro+ and wanted to use it on openSuse Tumbleweed. The instructions stated to go to File > License, but I could not find it. After some searching I found that the pro version was not available on the open source version (the one I had installed with zypper) and I had to install it from Snap.

Steps

You can follow the steps here to install.

1. Install snap-store and poedit

I don’t know why, but poedit does not run without snap-store.

snap install snap-store poedit
